Teresa Anderson

Teresa first discovered her passion for working with dogs when she started dog sitting on Rover while she was in the shipyard. That began her interest in learning canine nutrition, behavior and training.

She found the lack of trustworthy care and training seemed to be a common theme. With the support of her husband, Jeremy, she formed Ruff Patriots with the mission of helping owners and their dogs’ relationship flourish. At Ruff Patriots, we truly believe there are “No Bad Dogs” and that every dog has the potential to thrive in their home!

She has a 18 month old DDR GSD Working Line, Basilone, who she does trailing (scent-discrimination) work training under the GAK9 method.

She is currently serving in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer.
